Historical Barn Project
Barn Apartment with Loft Design
This project was redesigning a historical barn located in Massachusetts from a two-person family. I used Pine Trees to inspire the design of my space, which are native to Massachusetts area. Since, this project was centered around sustainability I chose my concept to be a piece of nature which allowed me to use a lot of sustainable wood materials. I created design concepts of radial symmetry, color, and texture throughout the space. It helped me understand historical building codes and how to create a sustainability focused residential design

Pine Tree Concept:
I designed the apartment by using a pine tree to gain inspiration, the radial symmetry, texture, lines, and green colors.
Bathroom Mood Board
